SS EM/NCO CLOTH BILL CRUSHER CAP

Service used Waffen-SS Infanterie EN/NCOs cloth billed Alter Art style visored cap, SS production cap as intended for wear by NCOs and as also worn by officers upon promotion,
Cap body and bill are of field grey colored gabardine wool with bill stiffener (most likely) of pressed paper; crown and cap band piping are white wool; the cap band is black trikot wool (often encountered in black SS Visor caps), honestly this is the first time I see a black trikot band on a W-SS crusher!). Front isigna were magnifically restored with a BeVo SS eagle and a metallic SS Skull since the cap was originally found without insigna.
The cap is lined in black ribbed cotton, and still has machine sewn on it a brown squared oilcloth fabric where possible were the maker's name. The original colored leather sweatband is still in place, showing usage and a heavy patina, perfectly matching with the rest of the cap.
All the crusher cap is worn and stained from much use, but, despite the evident hard service, the cap body, band and piping are mostly without holes. This crusher was shown and discussed here: SS EM/NCO Cloth Bill Crusher Cap.

This cap is something excessively rare, especially a worn piece, with a screaming patina like this.
