Scarce first pattern Pith Helmet, in very good condition.
Size 57, produced in 1942 as marked inside the sweatband.
Helmet has a wonderful patina, show usage but it has no damages and everything is in place. Top skrew is of the very rare green 1st pattern pith helmet, and it was surely placed there during the war.
A pair of sand goggles are placed around the helmet.
A very nice, and always scarcer to find, pith helmet that has seen some action.
