An incredibly rare historical piece is offered here: an officer's tropical overseas cap produced by the Hans Brandt company.
The cap is in extremely fine condition, no tears, no damage, just a light wear patina that makes it even more fascinating.
The overseas cap is fully lined in red cotton and the lining has the Brandt manufacturer's stamp. Both ventilation grommets are still in place and both retain its original finish. The cap body was manufactured of olive colored cotton twill and the silver metallic piping at crown and from scallop were built in during the manufacturing process. The BeVo-woven pattern tropical national eagle is hand sewn and cockade is machine sewn, IMO both factory applied.
