RED CROSS EM DAGGER

This is a very appealing, all-original and complete example of a Red Cross EM Dagger Hewer. The blade on this one still looks great; the crossgrain is easily visible and the sharp teeth to the saw back are in perfect condition.
It is stamped "Ges. Geschützt." on the blade. The fit is perfect. The blade shows age grey and spotting throughout along with the common surface scratches. The brown leather buffer pad continues to remain intact.
The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great too, it shows some scratches where the paint was removed; anyway it continues to retain most of its original paint coverage.
The Red Cross EM Daggers scabbard fittings look excellent, matching the hilt perfectly. All screws continue to remain intact. The alloy based nickel-silver plated hilt are perfectly matching the rest of the dagger.
The Third Reich red cross medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting and detail, it shows some wear.
The correct bakelite checkered/smooth grip plates are in perfect condition. They are tightly secured by two steel screws.
The leather hanger is in excellent condition and is marked with the "H".
