Marked Iron Cross 2nd class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse) with ribbon.
On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The 2nd class cross was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat.
The cross is a three piece construction type and it shows a lovely light patina and great details overall. It comes with its original ribbon. The cross is maker marked with number "65" on the suspension ring, indicating the production by the "Klein & Quenzer" from Idar Oberstein.
