Very nice Third Reich period pillow case depicting the Adolf Hitler house (Berghof) in Berchtesgaden/Obersalzberg.
It shows some very light soiling and a couple of stains (due to 70 years...). Excellent craftsman work and a very rare to find item.
Pillow cases and other hand embroidered and hand sewn items (for example framed hand embroidered patches) made with this style are known and a few still survives. They were sold to the Berghof visitors.
