WEHRMACHT BEER STEIN of the "ARTILLERIE REGIMENT ULM"
Wonderful Wehrmacht (Heer) Commemorative Beer Stein (Bierkrug). The 0,5-Liter capacity beer stein is showing a nice image of a group of soldiers training with a gun in an open field. Under the image is written "Erinnerung an mein Dienstzeit" (in memory of my service) and on top of the image is written "15. Batt. Artillerie Regiment Ulm 1934-35". This beer stein was a remembrance piece for military service completed in 1934-35. The beer stein still have its original tin lid with Hindenburg bust in relief surrounded by a writing (Generalfeldmarschal v. Hindenburg Reichs-Präsident).
Interesting that on the back side are written all the names of the officers, NCO and soldiers of the 15 Battery of the Regiment.
Stein shows very few signs of age and usage. High: approx. 17 cm.
A very nice and decorative wartime piece. Not common to find.
