SILVER SKULL RING WITH RED EYES!

Wonderful example of rare pattern of the famous "Totenkopfring" (skull ring) made in Silver with crossed bones and ornamental motifs.
The ring is a very nice specimen of this pattern, high detailed and with the metal mark inside "835", indicating the silver content of the metal used for the production, and the maker mark "Ln".
The eyes were period filled with red varnish to give the ring a more "though" look. This was a practice in use during the Third Reich, along with that of inserting stones inside the eyes. The ring has an amazing patina.
A great, slightly worn, and rare skull ring.
