PARATROOPER GEMSTONE RING WITH CASE

Impressive and exceptionally rare ring for a Luftwaffe paratrooper.
Ring is made in multy-layer Tombak with a silver finish, the front side has a flat shaped central black onyx crystal gemstone to which is riveted (with two rivets) a Tombak eagle. The "diving" eagle clutching a swastika in its talons it’s the typical symbol of the paratrooper units and the same eagle is also used for the Paratrooper badge. Ring shows some wear, silver finish is partially worn off but the overall condition and patina is awesome. Ring comes with its original case that is complete and still remains in great condition; the opening button perfectly works.
This Fallschirmjäger cased ring is an extremely hard to find type and a top piece for every Third Reich ring and militaria collector.
