Outstanding Waffen-SS EM M43 cap with stacked dual piece insignia.
This interesting example has factory zig zag machine sewn insignia and body of later quality field grey wool, having a single button to the front. Lining material is a grey rayon with markings "57" still visible, so size 57, with flat white webbed bias materials, inner side loops are of grey rayon. Cap shows wear to exposed wool surfaces, it shows the proper age, but there is no damage or repairs.
Overall an excellent late produced M43 field cap for Waffen-SS soldiers.
