POLIZEI M41 OFFICER FIELD TUNIC

Amazing, and very rare, combat M41 private tailored made Polizei field tunic for an officer with the rank of Hauptmann der Polizei (or Hauptsturmführer with SS ranks). Jacket is made in fine Trikot with the Polizei green color.
Collar tabs are machine stitched to the tunic collar, while arm bullion made egle and Old Guard Honor Chevron are hand stitched to the tunic. Shoulder boards are the correct type for officer with two rank pips.
Tunic is fully lined with dark grey ribbed cotton/rayon and black ink markings are still partially readable on the armpit reinforcement. Overall condition is worn but still nice, tunic shows some small moth holes here and there.
On the left breast pocket there are a set of loops for an award and another set over the pocket for a ribbon clasp. A KvK ribbon is hand sewn on the second buttonhole. The jacket has a wonderful patina.
This type of tunic was often used by SS too.
