Outstanding group of documents belonged to Oberstleutnant Christian Fleischmann, commander of the Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 140 and winner of the German Cross in Gold.
Fleischmann was born in Frankfurt a.M. on November 2, 1893 and fought in the First World War. After the war he was in Freikorps and then in the new founded Wehrmacht he became officer in various artillery Regiments.
During the war he was appointed as commander of the I./Pz. Art. Rgt. 140 and, as commander of this unit, he won the German Cross in Gold, while was serving under the command of the 22 Pz. Division on the Eastern Front (South Russia and Krimea).
After being wounded he went in Reserve and in 1944 was appointed as commander of Artillery Regiment 276.
He survived the war and died in Starnberg on April 15, 1976.

- the General Assault Badge certificate – Signed by Generalleutnant Wilhelm von Apell (recipient of the Knight Cross of the Iron Cross)
