CLASP/BAR TO THE IRON CROSS 2nd CLASS

Early and nicely detailed, die struck, silver nickel/silver plated, alloy award.
The bar shows nice detailing including feathering to the eagles wings and a subtly textured background field to the swastika and the date bar. On the back side all the four prongs are intact, still perfectly soldered to the bar. Clasp comes with its original ribbon.
Very nice untouched example attributed to the maker Ziemer & Sohne from the city of Idar Oberstein of an early clasp to the Iron Cross second class. A scarce award.
