SA DAGGER WITH HANGER

Very nice and untouched SA Dagger produced by the scarce maker Gebrüder Heller, Bohrerfabrik, company from Schmalkalden in Thuringen .
The blade of this SA dagger is bright with only minor usage signs. All of the original cross grain of the etched letters has been preserved in an excellent way! The reverse side is also darkly etched with the maker mark "Gebrüder Heller Schmalkalden".
The grip is in great condition; the nickel-silver guards have preserved almost all of their original patina. The lower reverse guard is Gruppe/Gau marked "He", for Hessen, a district in the west of Germany, with the principal city being Frankfurt. This feature was only seen on daggers produced 1935 and prior. The grip eagle and the SA button are both in perfect condition.
The scabbard has preserved almost all of its brown varnish finish; the scabbard fittings are in extremely fine condition and really bright. Attached to the hanger ring on the scabbard is a very nice belt hanger, with early pattern solid nickel hardware and brown finished leather. The leather is in good condition and the metallic part is marked by "Assmann".
