LUFTWAFFE OFFICER VISOR CAP "EREL"

A truly outstanding Luftwaffe officers visor cap by the famous firm "Erel".
The cap is in excellent condition and shaped in “Crusher” style.On front side the visor has bullion hand made eagle and cockade, both hand sewn. The inside lining is fully present and the celuloid diamond with the maker mark informations is still sewn in place with no craks; it is marked Erel Sonderklasse Privat Gesch Gesch indicating production by Erel of Berlin, which is one of the best period manufacturers that was known of producing the best visor caps. The sweatband is still soft and has no tears, no damages; it shows the maker logo. The cap is most probably a size 56/57.
This visor is a stunning example in great condition with an incredible shape and patina. It was found along with the LW officer tunic sold here few month ago.
