BLOOD ORDER - BLUTORDEN

9.995,00 €

Very rare second type blood order medal in great, clean condition. This is one of the most rare and most desirable Third Reich awards, created for those who took part in the Munich Putsch of 1923, when Hitler tried to take power with an insurrection.

Struck in "800" silver, it is issue numbered 3040. There is a very slight wave in the metal that we have tried to show, just for purposes of full disclosure. These metals often exhibit such things, due to the soft silver composition. It comes with a nice, original ribbon. The medal came with old information from a previous collector in the form of a slip of paper that links the medal to an Austrian recipient.

Albert Friedl took part in the Austrian Putsch in St. Ruprecht an der Raab (Steiermark) as an SA-Mann and was sentenced to two years of hard labor, of which he served 23 months in the Karlau prison. The award date and the name does correspond with known issue numbers and dates.

We have priced the medal as unattributed, with the information a bonus to the new owner. This is a rare piece of history that only few collectors can be proud to own.
