Extremely scarce cap badge for the so called "Windhund" Division, the 116th Panzer Division.
Cap Badge is made in zinc, black lacquered, and measures are 29mm x 21mm.
Condition is good, and is wonderful to see the cracks on the finish, typical of the age for its 70+ years. The badge was, at some point, broken, then fixed. Impossible to say when.
Members of the 116.Panzer-Division wore this semi-official (Traditional) cap badge.
