Great example of the Reichsparteitagabzeichen or Party day badge, of the 5th NSDAP Party Congress that was held in Nuremberg on August 30th to September 3rd 1933. It was called the "Rally of Victory" (Reichsparteitag des Sieges).
Badge is constructed out of a die struck bronze base that has been bronze washed and burnished. The obverse features a large political style national eagle, clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons, perched above the city of Nuremberg and reads "N.S.D.A.P Reichsparteitag Nürnberg 1933" to the base. The full back reverse has a vertical tombak pin assembly. It measures 5,3 c, tall by 3,5 cm wide.
