Great porcelain figure, designed by Karl Himmelstoss and produced in 1940 by the SS Allach porcelain factory, depicting the iconic "Munich Child" motif, a child with flowers in hand. It features a three-sided base adorned with the Munich coat of arms (1933–1945), along with the inscriptions "Blumenschmuck" and "Wettbewerb München 1940" (Competition Munich 1940).
The Munich Child was in essence a prize given for flower growing Produced in 1940.
The figure is in mint condition and stands just over 8 inches tall. An excellent SS Allach porcelain, known for its historical significance and craftsmanship.
