Incredibly rare pattern of Third Reich era ring, an amazing Kriegsmarine "Stangenes" Norvegian example in Buntmetall shield shaped with a particular design and a "Sonnenrad" (the round swastika). The shield shaped front part shows on top the word "STANGENES" (Stangenes is a part of the Randesund district of the City of Kristiansand in Norway and it is also a Norwegian surname).
The ring is slightly worn and shows light nice patina, it keeps almost completely its original silver finish. The ring comes with its original case, that is still in excellent condition. Set was a GI bring back piece and comes from a family in NY.
Interesting piece of history of an incredibly rare pattern ring. A must have for every serious ring collector.
